Exhaust gas cleaning for vessels
With our innovative products, we can offer efficient solutions for exhaust gas purification for both propulsion engines and auxiliary engines of vessels, as long as these fulfil the few basic conditions for trouble-free operation. The use of low sulfur fuels is of particular importance for the long-term functioning of exhaust gas purifaction systems.
Depending on the application, we can also design soot particle filter systems and our t-blue NOx reduction system for fuels with up to 500 ppm sulphur.
We offer technically sophisticated solutions for seagoing and coastal vessels, inland waterway vessels, passenger ships, ferries as well as workboads and authority vessels.
With our many years of experience, we are able to integrate our systems into almost any engine room. The modular design of our products helps us to develop an individual constructive solution that fits in the conditions in the engine room.
With the retrofitting of a combined exhaust gas purification system consisting of a Tehag soot particle filter system an t-blue NOx reduction, all typical pollutants in diesel exhaust gas are reduced, in some cases down to the detection limit. Both soot particles an the gaseous pollutants hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides are filtered or converted into harmless substances.
This enables us to bring even older existing engines within the emission limits of the current Stage V emission standard.
With these far-reaching emission reductions, our exhaust gas aftertreatment systems also meet the requirements of all European funding programmes for retrofitting exhaust gas purification systems. In inland shipping, the requirements of the green Award are met fully and a very good classification can also be achieved with the Dutch emissions label.
Of course all Tehag exhaust gas purification systems themself meet the strictest approval criteria.
